Been using this toilet seat topper for my 3-year-old son’s potty training for about 4 months now and it’s made the whole process way less stressful than I expected. The contoured seat really does fit his little bottom well and he seems comfortable sitting on it without that scared look he used to get with the big toilet seat. The slip-resistant base grips our elongated toilet seat really securely – haven’t had any scary sliding incidents which was my biggest worry when we started this whole potty training adventure. The adjustable spray shield is clever in theory and definitely helps contain messes when it’s positioned right, but honestly it gets in the way sometimes when he’s trying to position himself and I’ve found myself just leaving it down most of the time even though he’s a boy. Cleaning is pretty straightforward with just a quick wipe down after each use, though the soft-flex grips can collect some grime in the crevices that requires a bit more scrubbing. The upright storage feature is handy and it doesn’t take up much space next to our toilet, though it does tip over occasionally if bumped. The wipeable surfaces work well but I did notice some slight discoloration around the edges after a few months of use despite regular cleaning. One thing that bugs me is that the spray shield removal for deep cleaning is kinda fiddly and I’ve dropped it in the toilet bowl twice trying to get it back on properly. For the price it’s a solid potty training tool that’s definitely helped build his confidence, just be prepared for some minor annoyances with the spray shield design.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
