Each CWO-X filter mount comes with 1 SM1-threaded insert, capable of mounting up to 2 Ø1-inch optical components. Additional SM1-threaded inserts can be purchased separately.Technical Description Main Body:The top of the CWO-X filter mount main body is equipped with a spring-loaded latch mechanism that aligns each filter with the mechanical axis of the cage system. A set screw on the top locks the position of the insert. The three surrounding screws fix the latch position and are non-adjustable. Multiple filter mounts can be stacked along the optical path (the filter mount includes 1 WO-X2 insert; additional inserts need to be purchased separately). Filter Insert:The mounting hole of the WO-X filter insert can accommodate Ø1-inch optical components up to 5mm thick. Each insert hole has SM1 threads and a lip groove on the edge, allowing optical components to be installed using the included retaining ring. Each filter insert is equipped with a blank label for marking optical components. (Each mounting hole includes 1 CSK3 retaining ring and 1 DS1 washer; additional rings and washers need to be purchased separately.) The main body panel is equipped with SM1 (1.035”-40) internal threads for compatibility with SM1 series lens sleeves. The 4-40 threaded holes on the panel are used for installing M6 cage rods (8 4-40 screws included). The mount can be used in combination with our lens sleeves and coaxial cage systems, or directly configured in free-space setups—mounted on rods or directly on optical platforms.The main body panel is equipped with 4 hidden screws. Using the included Ø2mm screws, multiple filter mounts can be stacked consecutively.Installation Method:When stacking multiple filter mounts, push out the hidden screws from the hidden screw holes at the four corners of the main body panel inward with a 2mm hex wrench, then tighten them by turning clockwise. To disassemble the main body, use a hex wrench (no inward thrust required) to unscrew counterclockwise (a slight unlocking sound will be heard). (6) The main body of the filter mount comes with a WO-X2 insert; additional inserts need to be purchased separately.
