It can be tightened via the hand-tightened screw on the side of the plate clamp or with a 3mm hex wrench.(2)_Since the plate clamp is made of aluminum and uses single-point pressure for clamping, handle with care when installing optical components into the flexible plate clamp to avoid damage.
