Chicco NextFit iX Zip Convertible Car Seat Review and Features-chicco

Love this seat so much better than the Graco 4ever I got for my first son. The material is so much more plush and soft and my baby does not get super hot and sweaty like my other kid does in his 4ever. It’s also super easy to clean due to the zip off cover. The 4ever took me over an hour to put back together after washing. The straps are super easy to tighten on both the 5-point harness and the tethers. The harness on the 4ever is very hard to tighten and the straps are constantly getting twisted. Very easy to install. My favorite thing is that my sons head doesn’t slump over when he falls asleep unlike my other son in his 4ever who’s head is constantly slumping despite it being in the deepest incline. The NextFit also fits better in my fusion than the 4ever. It is very wide but front to back there’s lots of room for me to move my seat back. Cons of the NextFit would be that it’s super heavy and bulky. Also, the sides are super high and it’s difficult to get the baby in without bumping his head on the top of car. But that also makes me feel like it’s more protective.
